Apollo 11 was the space flight that first landed humans on the Moon. Commander Neil Armstrong and the lunar module pilot Buzz Aldrin formed American crew that landed the Apollo lunar module Eagle on July 20, 1969 at 20:17 UTC on the Moon. Six hours and 39 minutes later on July 21, 1969 at 02:56 UTC Armstrong became the first person to step onto the lunar surface. Aldrin joined him 19 minutes later. Don't forget the command module Columbia and it's pilot who was orbiting the moon Michael Collins well Buzz and Neil were walking on the moon.
